1. About these terms

These terms apply to photography services provided by Razia Jukes, a sole trader trading as Razia Jukes Photography, of Greenwich, London (“I”, “me”). “You” means the person or organisation booking the work.

Your booking is confirmed when you accept my quote in writing. Accepting the quote means you accept these terms. If we sign a separate written agreement for a particular job, that agreement takes priority over anything here.

2. Prices and payment

Prices on the website are a guide. The price for your booking is the one in your quote.
I am not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
There is no booking fee.
If you are booking as an individual, payment is due before your images are delivered.
If you are booking for a company, payment is due within 14 days of my invoice.
Payment is by bank transfer. Clients outside the UK can pay by card through Stripe.

3. Cancelling or changing a date

If you cancel within 48 hours of the shoot or event, the full fee is payable.
You can move your booking to another date at no charge if you give me at least 7 days’ notice.
With less than 7 days’ notice I will do my best to offer another date, but cannot promise one. A request to move a date made within 48 hours of the shoot is treated as a cancellation, unless we agree otherwise.
If I have to cancel because of illness or an emergency, I will offer you a new date. If we cannot find a date that works for you, I will refund anything you have already paid.

4. On the day

If a shoot or event runs over the booked time and you would like me to stay, the extra time is charged pro rata at the booked hourly rate, agreed with you on the day.
For events, travel within London Zone 1 is included. Travel beyond Zone 1 is charged at cost.
You are responsible for any permissions needed to photograph at the venue, and for letting guests or staff know that photography is taking place.

5. Delivery

Edited images are delivered through a private online gallery, usually within 7 to 14 working days. If you need images sooner, tell me when you book and we can agree a faster turnaround for a selection.
I choose and edit the final images. Unedited files are not supplied.
Please download your images once the gallery is ready. Keeping your own copies is your responsibility. I keep finished images for three years and unedited files for 12 months, after which they may be deleted.

6. Copyright and how you can use the images

I keep the copyright in all photographs I take.
Once the booking is paid in full, you may use the delivered images for your own marketing, website, social media and press, with no time limit.
You may not resell the images or pass them to a third party for their own use without my agreement.
A photo credit is appreciated but not required.

7. How I may use the images

I may show a selection of images from a shoot on my website and social media unless you ask me not to. For corporate and private events I only do so with your agreement. I will remove any image on request.

8. Insurance and liability

I hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance, with cover of up to £5 million.
I take care to back up images. If images are lost, or I cannot complete the work for reasons outside my control, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. If you are booking as an individual

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. How I handle personal information is set out in the privacy policy.
