The brief
MTArt Agency was launching its latest curation, She Believed She Could And So She Did, at Home House in London. The evening brought together investors, entrepreneurs and founders in support of female artists, and supported the work of UN Women UK. It was led by MTArt Agency’s founder and CEO, Marine Tanguy.
The agency needed a complete visual story of the evening that it could use for PR, on social media and to promote future events.
The coverage
I photographed the artwork and the venue, Marine and the participating artists, the invited guests, and the conversations between them. I worked unobtrusively, looking for genuine interactions and expressions, while keeping in mind the pictures the agency would need afterwards.
Alongside candid networking photographs I looked for strong images of the key people, connections between guests, and wider views that show the atmosphere and scale of the room. For events with founders, CEOs and senior leaders, the pictures need to feel natural and still present people confidently.
How the pictures were used
The photographs gave MTArt Agency a record of the launch and a collection of images to share with its audience. Images from the evening were subsequently shared on Instagram by Marine Tanguy and by MTArt Agency, with a photography credit.
